(ORAL) (The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual court) By way of filing the present writ petition, the petitioner has sought the issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 15.11.2019, whereby the claim of the petitioner has been declined despite the fact that the petitioner is more experienced and senior to other promotees.

It is further contended that the name of the petitioner be considered for his promotion to the post of WPO as he is entitled in view of the Gazette notification dated 16.03.2009 in respect of HUDA Service Regulation, 2009 of Regular Work Charges Fields Staff (Group 'C' & 'D') as he worked as Chowkidar in Circle Office, Rohtak.

At this stage, Mr. Sumit Gupta, Additional Advocate General, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. Learned counsel for parties have fairly conceded that the purpose would be achieved if direction is issued to the respondents to decide legal notice dated 04.07.2020 (Annexure P-7) and reminder dated 22.05.2020 (Annexure P-6) served by the petitioner, in a timebound manner. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and after perusing the paper-book, but without commenting on merits of the case, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondentauthority, to decide legal notice dated 04.07.2020 (Annexure P-7) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
