!"# $ Petitioner/convict Ram Lubhaya who is presently lodged in Central Jail, Gurdaspur, through the present invocation under the provisions of Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 3(b)(d) of the Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962 has sought parole for a period of four weeks. Upon notice, learned State counsel has placed on record report of the concerned Police Station Qadian dated 19.11.2015 whereby after recording statements of the residents and relatives it has been reported that the marriage of Sushma, who happens to be RATTAN PAL SINGH 2015.11.20 15:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court

grand;daughter (being son's daughter) is to be solemnized on 23.11.2015.

In the light of contentions of learned counsel for the petitioner that presence of the petitioner is very much essential at the ceremony as per the rituals and customs prevalent, which is not refuted on behalf of the State. Having regard to these circumstances, it would sub;serve the ends of justice if the petitioner is granted parole for two weeks subject to furnishing of surety bonds to the satisfaction of Illaqa Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Gurdaspur and the petitioner shall surrender before the Superintendent, Central Jail, Gurdaspur on 05.12.2015 at 10.00 a.m.

The petition stands disposed off accordingly. # !$ %&'(&) " RATTAN PAL SINGH 2015.11.20 15:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court
