***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.825 dated 18.08.2015 under Section 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Hisar, District Hisar.

Petitioner is stated to be 82 years old and is incarcerated since October 12, 2017. Co-accused has already been granted anticipatory bail. Admittedly, investigation has been completed and trial is in progress. Keeping in view period of incarceration of the petitioner and the fact that case is triable by Magistrate, this court does not intend to express any opinion on the merits of the case. However, trial of the case may take some time to conclude. Thus, no useful purpose would be served by detaining the petitioner any longer. Accordingly, petition is allowed. Petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Hisar.
