The matter pertains to the year 2009. At the time of admission, it was ordered to be heard with CWP No.5214 of 1997, which has since been decided. The said writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn on 15.10.2010.

Since the petitioners had failed to take adequate steps to serve the respondents, we are of the opinion that the present writ petition deserves to be dismissed for want of prosecution.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners despite the fact that the office report indicates the intimation to the counsel for the petitioners about listing of the petition.

Dismissed for want of prosecution.
