Notice of motion was issued to the State of Punjab. No one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Gurbax Singh of CIA Staff, Ferozepur, submits that the alleged detenu, Amandeep Kumar, was booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in a case arising out of FIR No. PRASHANT KAPOOR 2015.02.20 18:25 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRWP-170-2015 3, dated 5.1.2015, registered at Police Station, Lakho Ke Behram, District Ferozepur. Amandeep Kumar was arrested and at present he is confined in the Central Jail, Ferozepur, in the said case. In view of above, no further orders are required to be passed in the present case.
