RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) CRM No.14682 of 2017 For the reasons set out in the application for condonation of delay of 154 days in filing the revision which is duly supported by an affidavit, the same is allowed and accordingly, delay of 154 days in filing the revision is condoned.

CRR No.1662 of 2017 (O&M) The learned State counsel has not disputed that co-accused, namely, Lalan Ahmad and Firoz Ahmad @ Bau were convicted and sentenced by the learned courts below. The period of sentence of the aforesaid co-accused has been reduced to the period already undergone vide judgment dated 18.3.2017 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this court in CRR No.3733 of 2016 titled "Lalan Ahmad and another versus State of Punjab".

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the role attributed to the petitioner is akin to aforesaid co-accused, namely Lalan Ahmad and Firoz Ahmad @ Bau and thus, the sentence of the petitioner Virender Kumar 2017.07.25 18:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRR No.1662 of 2017 (O&M) 2 may also be reduced to the period already undergone treating his case on parity with the aforesaid co-accused.

In view of the above, this revision petition is disposed of in terms of order dated 18.3.2017 passed in the aforesaid CRR No.3733 of 2016 titled "Lalan Ahmad and another versus State of Punjab". Resultantly, the sentence of the petitioner is reduced to the period already undergone by him.
