The petition is, in essence, aimed at seeking emergency parole to the petitioner on medical grounds.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the application was made on behalf of the petitioner way back in September 2020 and much time has elapsed since then. In this back-drop, learned counsel has submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh plea for grant of emergency parole either on his own or through the next friend/relative on which a decision ought to be considered by the concerned authorities.

After hearing rival counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the record, the present petition is disposed of reserving liberty in favour of Ashwani Kumar 2025.07.30 10:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
