The petitioner has filed this criminal writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents to release the petitioner forthwith on usual terms and conditions as per Govt. Instructions dated 08.07.1991 and it is prayed that petitioner be released on interim bail/parole. Notice of motion was issued and learned State counsel appeared.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that representation/letter Annexure R1/T was sent which is still pending before the competent authority and has not been decided so far. He argued that direction be given to the respondents to decide the VINEET GULATI 2016.03.30 10:31 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRWP No.1745 of 2015 -2representation of the petitioner expeditiously within a stipulated time. Learned State counsel has also no objection.

Keeping in view the prayer of the petitioner, the respondents are directed to decide the representation/letter Annexure R1/T within two months from the date of receiving of the certified copy of this order and to inform this Court after the expiry of stipulated time. With the above-said observations, the present criminal writ petition stands disposed of.
