This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant 4 weeks emergency parole to the petitioner to enable him to perform 'Bhat Ceremony' of his niece, whose marriage is to be performed on 25.12.2015.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner only prays for the relief that the representation dated 04.12.2015 (Annexure P2), moved to respondent No.3, by the petitioner be considered and he does not press the other relief asked in this petition. In view of above, respondent No.3/Superintendent, District Jail, Faridabad is directed to decide the representation/ application dated 04.12.2015 (Annexure P-2) moved by Savitri widow of Kartar Singh expeditiously preferably within 10 days from today. With aforesaid direction, this petition stands disposed of.
