(ORAL) The instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners for issuance of a direction to official respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to conduct proper, fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No. 366 dated 07.12.2017 under Sections 332, 353, 380, 354, 427 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh, with a further direction to respondent No.2 to transfer the investigation of the case to the higher official. In this regard the petitioners have also approached the authorities by filing representations (Annexure P-5 Colly.) but till date no action has been taken by respondent No.2 on the same. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he would be satisfied if respondent No.2 be directed to look into the representations (Annexure P-5 Colly.) and take action in accordance with law, in a time bound manner.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Gautam Dutt, learned Addl. P.P. for U.T. Chandigarh, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on behalf of U.T. Chandigarh. Three copies of the petition be handed over to him by learned counsel for the petitioners during the course of the day failing which no action is called for. He submits that representations (Annexure P-5 Colly.) will be decided within a period of two weeks. Heard.

Without going into the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide representations (Annexure P-5 Colly.), within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order and take necessary action in accordance with law.
