335 "#by way of affidavit dated 12.02.2015 of Paramjit Singh PPS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, City-I, Police Commissionerate Jalandhar City, on behalf of respondent No.1,2 and 4 and 5 and affidavit dated 12.02.2015 of Harpreet Singh Banipal PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Investigation) District Kapurthala, on behalf of respondent No.6 have been filed in Court today, with copy thereof to learned counsel for the petitioner. The same are taken on record.

It is submitted that the alleged detenue, Surat Singh @ Suraj son of Shamsher Singh is an accused in FIR No.21 dated 05.02.2015 under Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 registered with Police Station Garh Shankar.

It is submitted that he was apprehended by the District police of Garh Shankar on 05.02.2015 alongwith one country made pistol 0.315 bore and 3 live cartridges and pistol 0.30 bore alongwith 5 live POOJA SHARMA 2015.02.18 10:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh

CRWP No.180 of 2015 -2cartridges besides the motor cycle. Information regarding arrest of the petitioner's son was given to his wife namely Simran Sandhu on the mobile number provided by him. It is stated that he is an accused in as many as 17 other criminal cases.

Keeping in view the above, this petition has been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of accordingly.
