This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for furlough as per Punjab Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1962.
Heard.
At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner only prays for the relief that application/representation dated 07.12.2015 (Annexure P-2), moved to respondent No.3, be considered and he does not press the other relief asked in this petition. In view of above, respondent No.3 is directed to look into the said application/representation (Annexure P-2) regarding furlough/parole and pass appropriate order within 6 weeks after receiving copy of this order, as per law.
