***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa, District Mansa and respondent No.4-Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda that in case the petitioner is to be associated with any investigation in the capacity of a witness or any information is to be elicited in respect of any incident that may have happened, then a prior written notice in terms of Section 160 Cr.P.C. shall be afforded to him. It is clarified that in case the petitioner is himself suspected to be involved in some case, then needful shall be done after complying with provisions of Sections 41 and 41-A Cr.P.C.
