CRM-M-29609-2022 State counsel on instructions submits that a cancellation report has been prepared and the accused is being absolved of the allegations. Faced with this, counsel for the complainant submits that given the statement of counsel for the State, the present petition has rendered infrucutous because they would be challenging the cancellation by filing a protest petition before the concerned Magistrate.

Be that as it may, State to file final report within two months from today. Given above, the present petition stands disposed of. It is clarified that in case the final report or cancellation report is not filed within stipulated time, then liberty reserved to the petitioner to come before this Court again.
