By way of present revision petition filed under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to release the amount of compensation awarded in pursuance to notification dated 12.10.2020 pertaining to land owner by the petitioner.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Shivendra Swaroop, DAG Haryana has produced a letter dated 24.08.2022 passed by Land Acquisition Collector-cum-District Revenue Officer, Panchkula whereby the dispute relating to release of compensation, initiated at the instance of petitioner already stands referred to Addl. District Judge, Panchkula-cum-Reference Court in exercise of power under Section 20H(4) of Railways Act, 1989 read with Railways (Amendment Act) 2008.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for petitioner does not press the present petition so as to pursue the rights of the petitioner before the Reference Court.

Disposed of in aforesaid terms.
