SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to extend the parole granted to the petitioner till 16.08.2021 for eight weeks on account of fracture suffered by him. After arguing for sometime, counsel for the petitioner seeks and and is granted permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the jail authorities seeking extension of parole period. Ordered accordingly.
