This is a petition in the nature of Habeas Corpus praying for release of the detenu Lakhvir Singh. Pursuant to the appointment of a Warrant Officer, the aforesaid detenue was recovered. Now his whereabouts have been ascertained and he being set at liberty, has rendered the instant petition infructuous.
