The petition was received by post and notice was ordered to be issued.

State counsel submits that the detenue named in the petition was arrested on 3.2.2015 i.e. one day prior to the date of the letter received here and the arrest was made in FIR No.25 dated 3.2.2015 registered at Police Station Division No.4, Ludhiana under the NDPS Act. He was, therefore, not illegally detained.

In view of the explanation given by the State counsel, the petition is dismissed.
