RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing FIR No.7 dated 07.01.1999 (Annexure P-2) registered under Sections 307, 450, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Division No.4, Jalandhar.
Learned State counsel, on the basis of status report by way of affidavit of Satinder Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Central), Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar, fairly conceded that during investigation, petitioner was found innocent and has illegally been declared proclaimed offender by the trial Court vide order dated 13.11.1999. Heard.
In view of above, instant petition is accepted. FIR No.7 dated 07.01.1999 (Annexure P-2) and order declaring the petitioner proclaimed offender along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom are quashed qua petitioner only in view of the fact that all other co-accused of RAVINDER SINGH 2019.03.27 11:08 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
