As common issues are involved in the captioned petitions, with the consent of both sides, the same are hereby disposed of by this common order. For the sake of brevity and convenience, facts are borrowed from CWP-13139-2026.

The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents No.1 to 5 to provide effective police protection to its partners, driver, cleaners, helpers and 12 tank trucks.

As per petition, the petitioner has been allotted tender of 12 tank trucks by Indian Oil Corporation Limited. The petitioner has furnished performance guarantee of Rs.8,00,000/- 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his prayer is confined to police protection to his vehicles and employees at the gate of Indian Oil Corporation Terminal at Sangrur because opponent group is stationed at the gate of Indian Oil Corporation Terminal at Sangrur and restraining the petitioner from getting his vehicles physically verified by officials of Indian Oil Corporation.

Learned State counsel submits that jurisdictional SSP would look into the matter and ensure that no hinderance is created by anyone in the movement of petitioner's vehicles.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the petitions stand disposed of with liberty to petitioners to appear before SSP, Sangrur who would ensure hassle free movement of the petitioner's vehicles at the Indian Oil Corporation Terminal at Sangrur.
