Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitionersenior citizen has filed an application (Annexure P-1) under the Maintenance & Welfare of Parents & Senior Citizen Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as '2007 Act) before the Tribunal (respondent No. 2), which is not being taken up by the Tribunal (respondent No. 2) so far, which act is causing prejudice to the petitioner-senior citizen, hence, the Tribunal (respondent No. 2) be directed to take up the application (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitionersenior citizen under 2007 Act, for consideration as expeditiously as possible. 2.

Mr. TPS Chawla, Sr. DAG, Punjab, appears and accepts notice on behalf of respondents-State. Learned counsel for the respondents-State submits that as per the information received from the SDM concerned, the application (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner under 2007 Act before the Tribunal (respondent No. 2), is now listed for tomorrow i.e. 08.05.2025. 4.
