Mr. C.L. Pawar, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab ******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has since surrendered before the jail authorities. By now he has undergone 13 years of sentence. The co-accused in this case have already been allowed pre-mature release in the year 2007.

Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner has surrendered and is presently undergoing imprisonment, this petition is disposed of with direction to competent authorities to reconsider case of petitioner under relevant rules for his pre-mature release, within a period of 10 weeks of receipt of copy of this order.
