Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards the veracity of the averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural that in case any application is moved before it by the petitioner for providing security to his life and liberty, if any such application has not already been filed, the same shall be got examined in accordance with law. In case it is found that there is any genuine threat to life and liberty of the petitioner, then all the necessary steps as warranted under law be taken thereupon at the earliest so as to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner.

As regards the prayer of the petitioner for taking action against respondents No.4 to 7 is concerned, the petitioner shall be at liberty to move an application in terms of provisions of Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. before the Court concerned.
