Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents not to terminate the services of the petitioners. 2.

The assurance recorded in order dated 26.08.2022 on an application filed by the petitioners that they would not be disengaged, learned counsel states that they are continuing in service as also been admitted in the written statement, however their working hours are reduced consequently salary also. He submits that a representation dated 15.06.2022, Annexure P-7, has been submitted for their absorption and on instructions states that he would be satisfied if a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, keeping in view the vacancies as stated in para 22 of the written statement, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 3.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, these petitions are hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 15.06.2022, within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
