(ORAL) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 03.02.2025, Annexure P-9, whereby the petitioner's claim for transfer to a vacant station/school has been rejected, and the said station(s) have been offered to his juniors.

Learned State counsel contends that the petitioner was posted at Government Senior Secondary School, Keharwala, Sirsa, on promotion as Principal alongwith other teachers, vide office order dated 19.11.2024, Annexure P-4. The petitioner's representation seeking posting to a particular school has been rejected vide impugned order dated 03.02.2025 on the following grounds:

That the newly promoted principals through online counselling were posted in the school cluster school+ PM Shri + Model Sanskriti School and common schools having the students strength of 484 or more by the respondent departments the respondent department intended to post the newly promoted Principals in the common schools having higher students strength so that the study of student may not suffer in the absence of an administrator in the PUSHPINDER SAINI 2025.08.28 17:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-12898-2025 -2school. Further, the stations desired by the petitioners are those whose student's strength are less 484 students which were not offered during counselling. Thus, there is no force in the representation dated 20.12.2024 of the petitioners, Resultantly, the claim of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

Apparently, the petitioner has been posted on promotion as Principal in a school having higher student strength keeping in view the administrative interests. On the same lines other promoted teachers have also been posted. There is nothing illegal or arbitrary about it, and this Court finds no ground to entertain the petition.
