**** NIDHI GUPTA, J. (Oral) Challenge in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No. 49 dated 17.04.2017 registered under Sections 406/498-A IPC at Police Station Sirhind (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.

Perusal of the order sheets shows that on the last 2 dates of hearing i.e. 11.03.2022 and 13.03.2024, none appeared on behalf of the petitioners. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the accused/petitioners herein have been acquitted by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Fatehgarh Sahib vide judgment dated 30.04.2019 in case No. 72 of 2017 titled as 'State vs. Rajwant Singh and another' arising out of above said FIR.
