 These cases involve similar issues and therefore, are being disposed of together by this common judgment.

The present petitions have been filed for directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioners who are working as daily wage/work charge employee with respondents on daily wage in view of the instructions dated 15.12.2006.

Learned counsel would contend that the petitioners have been working on Daily Wage/work charge basis as Baildar in the respondentDepartment for more than 27 and 10 years respectively and have to be regularised in view of the instructions dated 15.12.2006 as also their case is otherwise covered by the judgment passed by this Court in Amrish Sharma and Others vs. State of MOHIT 2024.05.31 15:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

Punjab and Others in CWP-19238-2013, decided on 26.02.2024 by relying on the judgment passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in State of Punjab vs. Jagjit Singh, (2017) 1 SCC 148, as regards grant of minimum pay scale + dearness allowance + grade pay is also concerned. In this regard, a representation dated 20.07.2021, Annexure P-8 as also legal notice dated 28.03.2024, Annexure P-12, have been submitted by them, which have yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are sanguine of it being considered in a positive manner, in case, a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner by granting them an opportunity of hearing.
