Dated Police Station Sections 18.05.2023 Rozke Meo, District Nuh 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 and 384 IPC 1.

The petitioner apprehending arrest in the FIR captioned above, had come up before this Court under Section 438 CrPC seeking anticipatory bail. 2.

Vide order dated 11.09.2023, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner, which is continuing till date.

As per case of the prosecution, the allegations are that the petitioner in the capacity of BDPO (Block Development Panchayat Officer) took a sum of Rs.15,000/- on 13.12.2022 and Rs.10,000/- on 07.01.2023 and also threatened to pay more amount and in this way extort money from the complainant. 4.

Petitioner's counsel submits that they voluntarily complied with the previous order dated 11.09.2023 and handed over the affidavit to the State. 5.

On instructions, counsel for the State has not disputed the contention made by counsel for the petitioner, however they want custodial investigation. 6.
