HARI PAL VERMA J.(Oral) Learned State counsel has filed reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Sukhwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran.
Para 8 of the reply reads as under :- "8.
That Nirvail Singh @ Torath s/o Kashmir Singh, Caste Mehera, was arrested on 17.3.2015 by ASI Partap Singh PS Sarai Amanat Khan and recovery of 280 gm of Heroine was effected from his possession and FIR No.24 dated 17.3.2015 u/s 21 NDPS Act was registered at PS Sarai Amanat Khan to this effect." In view of the above, no action is required to be taken in the present petition.
The petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
