Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 - Commissioner, Rohtak Division, Rohtak Camp, District Sonipat - to decide the application for stay expeditiously, which has been pending since May 2025, and till such time as the application for stay is decided, the dispossession of the petitioner be stayed.

Mr. Saurabh Mago, DAG Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4/State. Learned State counsel is not in a position to deny the fact that the application for stay has been pending since May 2025. 4.
In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Commissioner, Rohtak Division, Rohtak Camp, District Sonipat - to decide the application for stay expeditiously and preferably within a period of YOGESH SHARMA 2026.05.05 10:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
