Both these cases involve similar issues and therefore, are being disposed of together by this common judgment. 2.
The present petitions have been filed for directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioners who are working as daily wage/work charge employee with respondents on daily wage in pursuance to the Instructions dated 15.12.2006, Annexure P-6.

Learned counsel would contend that the petitioners have been working on Daily Wage/work charge basis on different posts in the respondentDepartment for more than 10 years and have to be regularised in terms of the Instructions dated 15.12.2006, Annexure P-6 as also their case is otherwise covered by the judgment passed by this Court in Amrish Sharma and Others vs. DINESH 2024.05.31 02:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-13456-2024 and - 2- CWP-13521-2024 State of Punjab and Others in CWP-19238-2013, decided on 26.02.2024 by relying on the judgment passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in State of Punjab vs. Jagjit Singh, (2017) 1 SCC 148, as regards grant of minimum pay scale + dearness allowance + grade pay is also concerned. In this regard, a representation dated 29.04.2024, Annexure P-17, has been submitted by them, which has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are sanguine of it being considered in a positive manner, in case, a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner by granting them an opportunity of hearing.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 29.04.2024 in light of the aforereferred judgments expeditiously. 7.
