Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to grant the step up increment to the petitioner and quashing the order dated 27.09.2005 whereby he was compulsory retired from service.

Learned State counsel refers to paras 2 to 4 of preliminary submission of the reply by way of affidavit of the General Manager, Punjab Roadways, Moga, dated 09.10.2023, as per which the petitioner is stated to have suppressed the true and material facts with regard to there being multiple punishments awarded to him, he being a habitual offender of siphoning off govt. money and not issuing the tickets to the passengers, and the order of termination of his service was modified to the PARVEEN KUMAR 2025.02.28 18:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.
