The application sent by Sukhwinder Singh to the Hon'ble Chief Justice is taken on judicial side.
In the application, Sukhwinder Singh stated that his family members are being harassed by the police of police stations Ghal Khurd and Talwandi Bai and forcibly taken away his innocent mother Chinder Kaur, his sister Meenu from the house on the basis of false FIRs. Notice of motion was issued and learned State counsel appeared and filed reply showing that so many cases under the NDPS Act are registered against Sukhwinder Singh applicant, his father Joginder Singh and mother Chhinder Kaur. As per Annxure R-1, placed on the record with the reply, three cases have already been registered under NDPS Act against Vineet Gulati 2016.10.24 17:25 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh Chhinder Kaur. It is also stated in the reply that the petitioner and his
CRWP No.1031 of 2016 -2family members are indulged in criminal activities and total 10 cases have been registered against the petitioner, his father and mother. It is further in the reply that on 28.07.2016, the police party apprehended Chhinder Kaur along with 84 strips i.e. total 840 capsules of Alprazolam. Learned State counsel also filed the affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Rural) Ferozepur showing that Meenu was neither required nor apprehended ever and she is residing in her house. Statements of Vijay Kumar and Bhim Singh, respectables of the village have also been attached with the affidavit.
Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances and in view the reply and affidavit, no further action is required in the present petition and the same stands disposed of.
