Raj Kumar-applicant sent an application through Email to this Court which has been taken on judicial side.

As per the allegations in the petition, Kuldeep Singh son of Gurmej Singh was missing for the one and half month and the petitioner prayed that directions be given to respondents No.1 to 3 to produce him before this Court.

Notice of motion has been issued in this case. Mr. Varun Sharma, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested this criminal writ petition.

Cr. W.P. No.1039 of 2016 [2] learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab appearing for the respondentState and have gone through the record. Learned State counsel has filed short reply by way of affidavit of Mr. Sulakhan Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Guruharsahai, on behalf of the State along with the statement of Kuldeep Singh. Kuldeep Singh in his statement dated 24.8.2016 has stated that he was having love affair with Davinder Kaur, but his parents forcibly married him to Kuldeep Kaur in the month of January, 2016. This marriage was not acceptable to him, due to which, his relations with his parents, brother Raj Kumar and wife Kuldeep Kaur turned strained and he left his parental house on his own and started living and working in Orbit Transport Company, Bathinda.

Nobody had kidnapped him, nor his brother-in-law Jaswinder Singh or in-law's family had done any wrong with him. He had left his house on his own and leading a happy life at Bathinda. Keeping in view the statement of Kuldeep Singh recorded by the Police, I find that no further action is required in this petition and the same is disposed of.
