The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of letter dated 08.01.2026 whereby respondent No. 2-Registrar, Punjab Pharmacy Council has rejected their application seeking registration as pharmacist. They are further seeking direction to respondent No. 4-Executive Committee, Punjab Pharmacy Council to decide their appeal dated 20.02.2026.

The petitioners submitted application for registration as Pharmacist on 21.02.2025 before the Punjab Pharmacy Council. Respondent No. 2 vide letters dated 08.01.2026 rejected their application on the ground that they took admission in D.Pharmacy before passing the requisite examination i.e. 10+2. They have preferred appeal dated 20.02.2026 against order dated 08.01.2026 before respondent No. 4 which is still pending.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that petitioners' application would be adjudicated within six weeks from today. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.
