ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) After arguing the matter for some time, counsel for the petitioner submits that since the custody of the petitioner is more than 41⁄2 years and the trial is proceeding at a very slow pace, a direction be issued to be trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously by giving short dates within a period of 06 months from today and ensure that the presence of the witnesses be procured through non-bailable warrants, if they fail to appear.

The Superintendent of Police, Panipat, is also directed to effect service of non-bailable warrants upon the witnesses on the date fixed before the trial Court.

Disposed of.
