(Oral) The alleged detenue Julekha has been produced before this Court and identified by Mr. V.P.Singh, Advocate, for respondent no. 5 and ASI Bhola Amin Singh, Police Station City Banga. She has made statement that she was earlier married to Mam Hussain and which marriage still subsists and that subsequently she entered into wedlock with Roshandin and because of some differences she has left her matrimonial home and is presently residing with her parents in District Hoshiarpur and does not want to go with her second husband. The State counsel has placed on record statement of Fateh Mohamad father of Roshandin to the effect that he does not know the whereabouts of his son Roshandin as they have severed all links with him.

Criminal Writ Petition No. 1117 of 2016 -2Faced with this situation, counsel for the petitioner has made statement withdrawing the present petition. However, reserving the right of the petitioner to move the appropriate forum in case of any such eventuality so arises.
