Alleged detenue Jeevanjit Singh is present in Court. It has been stated that he has attained the age of majority on 06.08.2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner admits this fact. On inquiry, Jeevanjit has refused to accompany the petitionerhis father. In view of statement of Jeevanjit, this petition has become infructuous by now.

CRWP-1123-2016 -2Jeevanjit is presently kept in Children Home, Bathinda. As he has attained the age of majority, he be released and allowed to go with the person he so likes.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents No.7 and 8 have spoiled the life of Jeevanjit and has caused immense damage to the petitioner.

The submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner are to be proved by leading evidence for which the petitioner will be at liberty to avail appropriate legal remedy.

With above observations, this petition stands disposed of. Copy of this order be supplied to the representative of Children Home, Bathinda for compliance.
