ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release him on parole for a period of 3 weeks under Section 3 (1) of Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988 to attend his wife, who is stated to be diagnosed with Fibroidectomy.

Mr. Bhupender Singh, DAG, Haryana who has joined proceedings on service of advance copy of the petition appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State of Haryana.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Respondent No.3 i.e. The Superintendent, Central Jail-1, Hisar shall treat the present petition as a representation/application for parole and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 6.

Let the needful be done within a period of 3 weeks from today. 7.
