This petition has been filed by Kamaljeet Kaur under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a roving writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for releasing the detenue namely Surmukh Singh alias Tota.

Vide order dated 22.01.2016, passed by this Court, Warrant Officer was appointed in this case.

The report of Warrant Officer has been received, in compliance of the aforesaid order.

As per report of Warrant Officer, he visited CIA Staff Ferozepur, Police Station Zira City and Police Station Makhu, but the detenue was not found illegally detained there. In view of the report, submitted by the Warrant Officer, no further action is required to be taken in this petition. Disposed of accordingly.
