(ORAL) The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent No.3 to decide his claim towards grant of permit as per his application dated 26.08.2022 on the route Rasulpur to Amritsar via Bama, Wadala Johal, Malakpur, Nangal Dayal Singh Talwandi Dogra, Manawala and Daburji. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved against the in action on the part of the respondent No.3 in not taking prompt action on the application filed by the petitioner. The petitioner has also served a legal notice upon the respondent No.3 on 20.03.2023. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner POONAM BHATT 2023.06.01 17:10 I attest the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sanjeev Soni, Addl. A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the legal notice of the petitioner dated 20.03.2023 shall be considered by the competent authority in accordance with law preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
