This matter is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to outbreak of the pandemic, COVID-19.
Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in FIR No. 137dated 02.07.2020 under Sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 427, 379, 34 IPC (Sections 326, 411 added later) registered at Police Station Ghuman, District Batala.
It is submitted that the above-said FIR was registered due to misunderstandings, which have since been removed. The matter has been compromised andCRM-M-28040-2020 has been filed for quashing of the FIR. The petitioners, it is submitted, have joined investigation pursuant to order dated 14.09.2020. It is, thus, prayed that this petition be allowed. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Sukhraj Singh, verifies that the petitioners have joined investigation and their custodial interrogation is not required. It is further verified that the matter has been amicably resolved between the parties.

CRM-M-27668-2020 -2Learned counsel for the complainant submits that the complainant has no objection in case this petition is allowed. There are no allegations on behalf of the State that the petitioners are likely to abscond, if afforded anticipatory bail. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances noted above but without expressing any opinion on the merits of case, it is considered just and expedient to allow this petition.
