The present writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for directing respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the private respondents as the petitioner has given application for registration of case against the private respondents and now the private respondents and Management are threatening the petitioner to kill in case she did not withdraw the complaints filed by her.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that for redressal of her grievance, the petitioner has already filed representation dated 20.02.2026 (Annexure P-3) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, however, no action has been taken on the same till date. 3.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case and in view of NEETU RANI 2026.05.04 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment PHHC, CHD

CRWP No.5070 of 2026 -2the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala, to decide the representation dated 20.02.2026 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner, qua threat perception in accordance with law within a period of one month from today and grant immediate protection, if any threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner, is perceived.

It is being clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioner for legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by her.
