**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) The petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to conduct fair and proper investigation in case FIR No.165 dated 19.09.2014 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC at Police Station North, Chandigarh.
Short reply by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh filed in Court today is taken on record subject to all just exceptions. Copy thereof has also been furnished to the counsel opposite. Learned counsel for the State submits that subsequent to the registration of the FIR, a thorough investigation was carried out. However, no substance was found in the averments made by the complainant and therefore, untraced report has now been filed.
In view of the reply filed by the State, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the instant petition. However, a prayer has SONIA BURA 2023.07.19 17:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
