(Oral) Report dated 13.5.2015 of the Warrant Officer earlier appointed has been received as well as reply by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib has been placed on record by the State.

In the totality of the report and the submissions of the State, the alleged detenue Karam Singh son of Piara Singh has not been found in any of the police station searched by the Warrant Officer and in view of which the present petition has become infructuous. However, the petitioner's right to invoke his remedy under different provisions of law would subsist. Dismissed as having become infructuous.
