(Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the office order dated 12.08.2021, Annexure P-9, whereby the fourth respondent was given officiating charge of Principal along with Drawing and Disbursing Officer in Government Polytechnic, Jhajjar. 2.

The impugned order was stayed by this Court at the time of issuing notice of motion, vide order dated 24.08.2021. The fourth respondent filed a Letters Patent Appeal no.805 of 2021, against the interim order which was allowed by Division Bench, vide order dated 22.02.2022, holding as under: In our considered view, since the respondent no.1 did not have any vested right to hang on to her officiating appointment as Principal of the Government Polytechnic College, Jhajjar, and continue in that position for all times to come, she cannot complain that she was PAYAL 2024.07.29 14:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-15588-2021 (O&M) -2being replaced by the appellant vide the impugned order dt. 12.8.2021 passed by the respondent No.3 prima facie. She cannot prima facie maintain the Writ Petition as she has no such vested right and seek to continue in her officiating position. The interim stay order, dated 24.08.2021, was accordingly set aside. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents contend that the fourth respondent has already superannuated from service, and is no longer holding charge as officiating Principal of the Polytechnic. 4.

In view thereof, the petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
