(Oral) The learned counsel for the petitioner has informed that pursuant to directions issued by this Court, the statement of the alleged detenue i.e. Manpreet Kaur daughter of the petitioner was recorded in terms of Section 164 Cr.P.C. wherein she stated that she is aged more than 18 years and has married respondent no. 6- Sukhwinder Singh out of her own free will and that she wishes to reside with him.

In view of the aforestated position, no further direction is required to be issued in the instant petition. The petition, as such, is dismissed.
