The application sent by applicant-Jagir Singh to this Court has been taken on judicial side.
As per the application, the main allegations are that the complainant is not knowing about the whereabouts of his son Kuldip Singh and his friend Gurdip Singh.
Notice of motion has been issued in this case. Mr. Varun Sharma, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested this criminal writ petition.

Cr. W.P. No.1286 of 2016 [2] The learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Jatinder Pal Singh, made a statement in the Court today that Kuldip Singh and Gurdip Singh have been arrested in FIR No.321 dated 10.9.2016 registered for the offences under Sections 379-B and 511 IPC at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur.
They were arrested on 16.9.2010 and at the time of filing of this complaint, they were in judicial custody. Now Kuldip Singh and Gurdip Singh have been released on bail vide order dated 12.10.2016. Keeping in view the above statement of the learned State counsel, no further action is required in this petition and the same is disposed of accordingly.
