ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to entertain his candidature for the post of Chargeman Mechanical vide advertisement No.14/2019 (Annexure P-1) published on 26.08.2019.

Respondent No.2-Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Panchkula advertised various posts in different departments vide advertisement No.14/2019 dated 22.08.2019. Petitioner successfully participated in written examination. He was called for scrutiny of documents where he was informed that he has been selected and final result will be declared later. After declaration of final result, he came to know that his name does figure in the final result. 3.

Qua his aforesaid grievance, petitioner submitted representation dated 06.06.2022 (Annexure P-5) but the same has not been adverted till date. Hence, the petition. On advance service, learned State counsel appears and submits that a decision will be taken by competent authority, either way, on the pending representation dated 06.06.2022 (Annexure P-4). 5.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks decision on the pending representation, as suggested by learned State counsel.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the pending representation dated 06.06.2022 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioner and pass an administrative order, in accordance with law, within six weeks.

Disposed of accordingly.
