Petitioner firm is seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash and set aside the assessment order dated 28.2.2019 (P-1), whereby Excise and Taxation Officer-cum-Assessing Officer,Gurugram has held it liable to pay a sum of Rs.15,85,45,767/- towards tax/interest as the petitioner firm failed to explain and submit details with respect to the difference between the value of receipt of goods and sales thereof resulting in addition of Rs.80,08,95,454/- in its turnover for the accounting period 2015-16.
